Dating to 300-400 BC, the elegant shape of the volute krater (or crater) has maintained its mystery over the centuries. This sleek classical form, in its modest scale, makes a subtle and elegant statement. The finish is applied by hand to resemble the patina of antique bronze, with a gilded base. Also available in a matte black basalt finish.
The twisted silken cord is 7’ feet in length, and connected to a single Edison socket, with a thumb-turn dimmer at the neck of the lamp for complete control. One 40 watt frosted incandescent (appliance size) bulb is included.
